Dreams: Dream for Stars
I started writing poetry at sixteen because that was the only way to express myself. I did not have anyone to talk to. I continued to write poems into my twenties and had enough for a small book. But my life path curved and I moved a lot and after each move I lost things. I would move into an empty place and accumulate a mattress, a table and a chair and then move again and lose those things. I lost all my poetry except one piece which I had copies printed to sell.
I have had as much loss as there are stars in the sky. I look at the sky every night and each star I see I attach a wish or dream to it. There are stars that loose there place in the heavens when I see a 'falling star'. There are dim stars but there are also very bright stars that shine and twinkle for thousands of years. Those thousand year old stars have millions of dreams attached to them. And those dreams have come true in different ways.
I dreamed to be a poet but lost all my poems. But they were not lost for instead of writing words on a blank sheet of paper, I would write them on a music pad. Now I see that you never know how your dream will come true.
